Visit Eugene’s 5th Street Market Saturday, Pick up a copy of ‘Jerome Kersey: Overcoming the Odds’

Hey, Eugene-area Trail Blazer fans, Jerome Kersey fans, basketball fans.

Join me from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at 5th Street Public Market, where I’ll be set up to talk basketball and, in particular, my latest book, “Jerome Kersey: Overcoming the Odds.”

We will be located in a room next to Allann Bros Coffee — on the second floor above Provision Coffee at 296 East 5th. We will have an ample supply of copies for sale of the biography of the late, great Blazer forward, a key member of the Blazer teams that reached the NBA Finals in 1990 and ’92.

I’ll also have copies of my previous book, “Jail Blazers,” for sale.

Stop by and get a book — personalized if desired — and talk some basketball. The topic could very well swing to the Final Four games set for later that day. Villanova or Kansas? North Carolina or Duke?

And if you’d like a nice, hot cup of coffee, we can point you in the right direction.
