The book is out, and Bill Schonely is, too.

The iconic former Trail Blazers broadcaster begins the signing tour for his new book “Wherever You May Be … Now: the Bill Schonely Story” Sunday when the Blazers play host to Indiana at Moda Center.

Schonely’s table will be at Entry A25 inside the South Fountain main entrance.

The Schonz, 93, is recovering from hip replacement surgery, but the youngster qualifies as a gamer if there ever was one. Stop by before the game or at halftime to buy and autographed book and say hello to the most popular figure in Blazers history.

The rest of the slate includes Cutsforth’s Market in Canby on Dec. 8 (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), Charbonneau Country Club activity center on Dec. 13 (3 to 4:30 p.m.) and the Blazer Booster Club on Dec. 19 at Moda Center (7 p.m.). All are welcome at each of these events.

If you can’t make it out, you can order Schonely’s book (autographed and personalized if requested) on kerryeggers.com. Go to the “store” tab atop the home page, fill out the order form and the book will be mailed to you. Three of Eggers’ other books — “Overcoming the Odds: The Jerome Kersey Story,” “Jail Blazers” and “Civil War Rivalry — are also available for purchase on the site.

You’ll not find the book on Amazon or other places where books are sold. It is available only here or at Schonely’s signing events. Don’t wait. If you get your order in by Dec. 18, we’ll get it back to before Christmas.
